Dal 28 settembre 2024 al 4 gennaio 2025 potrai scoprire i segreti del mosaico grazie alle mosaiciste de IL MIO MOSAICO: TOUR E LABORATORIO PRATICO.
Dopo una breve visita al laboratorio, e a una introduzione alla storia e alle tecniche musive, potrai realizzare con le tue mani un piccolo oggetto in mosaico da portare a casa. Un ricordo unico di Ravenna e una speciale opportunità per imparare a realizzare una piccola e personale opera d’arte!

MAKE YOUR OWN MOSAIC SOUVENIR
Where: Koko Mosaico – via di Roma 136 (RA)
Time: 2.30 pm
Through the use of marble, enamels (glass pastes) and small ceramics you can make your souvenir (about 10×10 cm) with a simple but effective design.
Saturday 5th October

MAKE YOUR OWN MOSAIC JEWEL
Where: Barbara Liverani Studio – via Girolamo Rossi 21/a (RA)
Time: 2.30 pm
Learn to make a small mosaic to wear and you will feel like Theodora! During the workshop you will make a pendant that you can wear or turn into a keychain. The work is minute and so you need a little patience and if you need it, remember to wear glasses.

Tracing the history of the mosaic from the past to the present we will create with marble and glass paste a small square (about 10×10 cm) inspired by the colours and shapes of contemporary art.

During the workshop you will create a recurring motif in the Roman pavements, the Solomon’s knot, symbol of the union between spiritual life and earthly life. You can choose between different colors of marble coming from Italian and foreign quarries: white Carrara, red Verona, black China or green Guatemala.
