Il mosaico di Maddy

Maria Maddalena Quattrocchi obtained her Master Mosaicist diploma in 1980 from the G. Severini State Institute of Mosaic Art in Ravenna. In the same year, she began collaborating with the “Artemosaico” studio of Master Liborio Puglisi. During her time at “Artemosaico,” Maria Maddalena worked on a wide range of projects, from copies of Byzantine and Roman mosaics to creation of home decor and modern mosaics.
In 2011, she decided to pursue an independent path by founding her own studio (lit. Maddy’s Mosaic). Her passion and attention to fine details led her to specialize in mosaic miniatures, unique pieces of exceptional refinement. In her workshop, you can admire and purchase copies of ancient mosaics made with smalti and marbles tesserae, home decor items, like mirrors and jewelry boxes, or modern mosaics that reflect Maddalena’s creativity and personal artistic exploration.
